As with Caribbean Islands, Anguilla is prone to hurricanes during hurricane season. Hurricane season traditionally runs between June through November. Although it is important to note that hurricanes can occur at anytime throughout the year. The predominant religion in Anguilla is Anglican, therefore, a large portion of the population will observe and celebrate traditional Anglican customs and holidays.
