The major markets of Greece are Germany, Italy, France, the United States and the United Kingdom. The predominant religion in Greece is Greek Orthodox, therefore a majority of the population observes traditional Greek Orthodox holidays. All major currencies are accepted and easily exchangeable at banks. Banking hours are typically 8:00 to 2:00. Most major credit cards are accepted; however it is advisable to inquire with your financial institution regarding acceptability. Formal business attire is expected for meetings. French, German, and English are often spoken in addition to Greek. The Government of Greece does not permit the photographing of military installations.
